The name "Golden India" pays homage to "Sone ki Chidiya," which translates to "the sparrow of gold," a name affectionately bestowed upon India due to its incredible diversity encompassing religions, cultures, languages, and particularly its culinary heritage.Our guests have the pleasure of indulging in Indian gastronomy at various locations, including Grindelwald, Wengen (a car-free village), Zermatt (another car-free village), Leukerbad, Sursee (Luzern), Lausanne, and even at Trockener-Steg (Matterhorn). Grindelwald and Wengen are situated within the enchanting Jungfrau region, in close proximity to Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken, nestled amidst the captivating Berner Oberland in Switzerland. Zermatt, home to the first authentic Indian restaurant by Golden India, is a car-free village located at the base of the world-famous "Swiss Toblerone Chocolate Mountain," also known as the "Matterhorn."
